The photo and the text live in different places
You need a new water filter for the fridge. You know you took a photo of the model number, but your photo library has thousands of pictures. You have a note that says “replace the filter every six months”, but the photo you actually need isn’t in it.
When photos live in the Photos app and words live in a notes app, you end up searching two places.
Put the photo in the note
Open the note in BijaVault, tap where you want the photo, and tap “+” at the top right. Under “Lists, Tables & Images”, choose “Image”, then tap “Choose an image”. Your photo library opens. Pick one photo, and it is added to the note.
You can write above and below the photo as usual. Right under “Water filter, every six months, last changed in April”, you can keep the photo of the model number.
You don’t need to give BijaVault access to your whole photo library. Only the photo you pick goes into the note.
Photos are files too
Photos you add to notes are saved in the “_images” folder inside BijaVault’s folder on your iPhone. The note’s text records where each photo is, so you can take the notes out together with their photos through the Files app.
What you need
Adding photos requires a period in which you can write: while you have a subscription, or during the three days unlocked by watching an ad. Each photo can be up to 25 MB.
