A note app where the note you need is always at hand.
BijaVault is a Markdown note app. What you write stays on your device as a plain text file, and you can take it out from the Files app at any time.
However many you have, the one you need is a filter away.
You choose whether this runs through the server or on your device only. On this device only, nothing leaves the device.
Nothing is locked into a private format, so your files remain readable even if you stop using the app.
Write what you see
Headings, bold text, lists, tables, and code, without typing the markup yourself. Everything is saved as Markdown.
Find it later
Filter by the type, title, and tags written at the top of each note, then search the text from there. This exists because a plain keyword search matches every one of your similar notes at once. Two-character Japanese words are searchable too.
Let it sort itself
BijaVault reads each note and writes its type, title, and tags at the top of the file. Anything already written stays as it is. You can turn this off at any time.
When two notes look alike, it asks whether to merge them or delete one. Deleted notes move to a trash folder, so you can bring them back.
You choose whether this runs through the server or on your device only. Through the server, the text of your notes passes through the server to be organized. It is not stored there, and processing runs in the EU. On this device only, nothing leaves the device.

In Documents/Notes inside the app, as plain .md files.
Access and payment
Reading, searching, and exporting existing notes is always available, whether or not you have purchased anything. Creating new notes and editing their content requires one of the following.
- An active subscription (a first subscription includes a two-week free period)
- Three days of access unlocked by watching a rewarded ad
- Monthly4.99 USD
- Yearly47.99 USD

Reading, searching, and exporting the notes you have already written stay free. Not paying never locks you out of your own notes.
After a period of inactivity the list is reset, but your notes are not deleted. They move to an Archive folder in Documents, where the Files app can reach them.
