Delete Your Account

You can delete your BijaVault account from inside the iPhone or Android app. If you can't use the app, you can also ask us by email to delete it.

Delete from the iPhone app

Tap the gear button at the top left of the note list to open Settings.
Choose Account.
Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
When asked to confirm, tap Delete Account.
If you signed in with Apple, you then see Confirm with Apple. Tap Continue, and on the Sign in with Apple screen that follows, tap Sign In and confirm with Face ID or similar. Your account is then deleted.

Delete Account appears only while you are signed in. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.

Delete from the Android app

Tap the gear button at the top left of the note list to open Settings.
Choose Account.
Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
When asked to confirm, tap Delete Account.

Request deletion by email

Write to info@bija-vault.com with the subject "Account deletion request". To confirm it's you, send it from the email address registered to your account. Once we have confirmed it, we delete the account and let you know by email.

If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email address, you can't send from the registered address. In that case, please delete your account from the app.

What is deleted

Your account information (email address, verification values, identifiers, and sign-in records)
The data for this account stored on the operator's servers, including notes and images synced from the Android app

When you delete from the iPhone app and you signed in with Apple, we also ask Apple to revoke the permission you gave. Deleting from the Android app or by email does not do this. To revoke it yourself, open your Apple ID settings, find BijaVault in the list of apps using Sign in with Apple, and stop using it.

What is kept

The notes on your device. Your notes are plain files on the device and are not deleted with your account. To remove them, delete the app.
The entitlement record tied to the device identifier (subscription expiry, free period, and AI runs), so that deleting and recreating an account cannot reset the free period or AI runs. It is unlinked from your account and is not tied to your email address.
