BijaVault

Use cases / Work

More notes, no wait to start writing

However many notes you have, the new note screen opens without waiting for the list to load. BijaVault doesn't reread every note each time you open it.

The more you use it, the slower it gets

Put everything into one notes app for a few years, and it starts making you wait every time you open it. Reviews of note apps describe the same thing. The app slowed down once everything went into it, it feels heavy, or it sometimes takes 30 seconds to load.

If writing more makes the app worse, you start to hold back from writing at all.

You don’t wait for the list before you write

BijaVault opens on a new note. Loading your list of notes and getting search ready happen after that screen is ready for typing. You don’t have to wait for the list to load before you start writing.

Go back from the new note to see the notes you have already written.

It doesn’t reread everything each time

Each note is kept on your device as its own plain text file. When you open the app, BijaVault normally rereads only the notes that changed since last time. Notes that haven’t changed are not read again.

During development we tested search, and the check for changed notes, with 10,000 notes.

What you need

BijaVault opens on a new note only while you can write, meaning while you are subscribed or during three days of access unlocked by watching an ad. At other times it opens on your list of notes.
